Almost half of business-to-business marketers say that the impact of social media has a positive effect on a website’s search performance, according to a new report from BtoB magazine, as reported by eMarketer.com. In fact, 44% of respondents to a recent poll said that social media’s overall impact on search is positive, the report showed.
According to the report, marketers are primarily using social media to improve search results by increasing inbound links to a company’s website, (ultimately boosting a website’s ranking on search engines).
