With over half of the U.S. population using Facebook, it’s becoming an increasingly popular place for businesses to advertise their products, services, and special events. Understanding how to use Facebook advertising is absolutely critical to your company’s bottom line.
One ReachLocal client, Kennesaw State University Sports + Entertainment Park, took advantage of Facebook to advertise the many events they hold at their 88-acre multi-purpose sports and recreation facility in an effort to boost attendance.
After partnering with ReachLocal for Facebook advertising through our ReachSocial Ads solution, KSU Sports + Entertainment Park saw a significant number of event responses, impressions, and engagement. One campaign they ran on Facebook for their Owl-O-Ween Festival, a KSU-organized hot air balloon festival, received more than 180,000 impressions. They paired their Facebook advertising efforts with a custom display advertising campaign through ReachLocal and brought more than 40,000 attendees to their Owl-O-Ween Festival over two days.
They’ve also used YouTube advertising through ReachLocal to promote events. They’ve found that the majority of users who interact with their YouTube ads are men in the 18-34 age range, so they now have a direct platform to reach that demographic.
