Last month, we asked readers what holiday marketing they planned to do this year to drive more business. The results are in. 31% of respondents said their holiday marketing includes sharing holiday messages on social media. In addition, 23% of respondents say they will run holiday-specific offers and promotions, but only 8% say they will add those seasonal offerings to a paid marketing budget. 23% of respondents also said they will update their website and local listings for the holiday season. Lastly, 8% say they will promote extended business hours and participate in events like Small Business Saturday.
